Ok let's see - we have an image hosted on a profile that is 1 day old and asks you to visit a website with a strange url with a promise of a financial reward on an another website. How do you even imagine that would work? And now, of course, people start crying that their computers got infected with malware. Which is great - every genius who fell for this obvious phishing scam deserved it. I hope your shitty computer burns and you along with it.
I know this is a no-duh for 90% of people reading it but for the sake of the rest lets revise what we all should know about online phishig. And before you go all:

Opinions are a Dangerous thing: Art StylesThis isn't about narking on anyone no, infact this is just my own muses really! You could say this is a journal for ENCOURAGEMENT! *SHINES*
I find sticking to one style restrictive if you are a beginning/moderate artist! (even professionals I might say! though I can't speak for everyone)
Having a distinctive look on how your art is done and produced is understandable and its a desire to appear unique to the point some one can just SEE your work and instantly think 'Oh! that's Ten-days!' or something along the line. However, when you are trying to find who you are and what kind of art you are to produce, I recommend trying, well, a lot of different things! Different styles, mixing styles, different colouring techinque, brushes, tools, shading. Don't feel dependant on what you are already doing and don't feel pressured by people just for trying new things!
Push out of your comfort zone. Can't draw hands? don't avoid it! draw the heck out of them! (how else are you going to learn?)

Nintendo STEALS Money!Since this has been going around lately, I should probably give my two cents. Basically what it amounts to is that Nintendo has filed Content ID info of their games with YouTube. What this means is that if you upload gameplay video of a Nintendo game, YouTube will automatically monetize that video, put ads on it, a link to where to buy the game, and take the money generated from that video and give it directly to Nintendo. People who do "let's play" videos are, naturally, pissed off because they want to be earning money off their videos, so they're calling Nintendo "thieves" for doing this.
I can see both sides to the story. I can see Nintendo as a corporation wanting to exercise control over their properties. On the other hand, "let's play" videos can often help new gamers find games they otherwise wouldn't have tried.
But here's the thing: Nintendo isn't the first company do this. Both Microsoft and Ubisoft do it already. YouTube has also had a long history of having music videos and

Sheesh, has it really been so long since I've done a journal? @.@

Well, I guess I haven't had a lot of things to say lately,
since I've just kinda been hanging in there, ya know?

But I do have some updates:

1. Summer sucked. Big time. Mostly because it's sooooo slow in
Etsyland during summer, because apparently people like to go
out and actually DO things, instead of spending all day on
the computer....???

2. If you're wondering about the title up there....it's a quote
from Olan Rogers, aka my new fave youtuber. Now, all you hip
kids probably already know about him, and I'm always the last
person to hear about cool stuff / people / things, BUT if you
haven't seen any of his vids, then you need to do yourself
a favor and look up Ghost in the Stalls, or Midnight Claw, or
Death is a Quiet Wave (which is where Frolie comes in) cause
he's ridiculously funny. I meant it, I haven't had a single bad
Monday since I saw his videos, because all I have to do is
think "It's a Monday" and I'm right back to happy,lol.

3. Now that fall is finally here, I'm gettin' my groove back,
which means I'm making more things (yay!) and just
generally getting more stuff done. Now if only that elusive
sales fairy could come by my shop a little more often...XD

Anyways, I'm hoping that all is well with you awesome Deviants,
and in case I spaz out and forget to journal again before
the end of the month, (and the odds are good that I will) I
wish you all a spooktacular Halloween!
